1. First Open VLC Media Player , then Click on Media and then click on Open Capture Device...
2. Now Click on Capture Device tab and choose Desktop and then Select frame rate for the capture , and then Click on Play Drop-down menu then Select Convert .
3. Now on the Convert wizard type Source: as screen:// and then Click on Browse to Select destination where you want to save your recording File, and then Click on Start .
Now Your Desktop Screen recording is going on after recording . Click on Stop Button to stop Recording .
4. To play Recording go to file where you save recording then Double click on that file to play .
