Close Windows Apps Running in the Background and Consuming Space

You may not realize but certain Windows apps may keep running in the background, consuming unwanted space and slowing down your computer performance. Nevertheless, you can disable these apps via Task Manager in following simple steps.

You can search for ‘Task Manager’ in Start in windows 7 ,8 or  by pressing ‘Windows key + I’ or swiping from right and selecting ‘Search’ and typing ‘Task Manager‘ in windows 8

Task Manager will be showed in results. Press it.

Task Manager will open on desktop. Here you will see the apps that are running and taking memory.


Select an app and press ‘End task‘to close it and remove from your memory
